The desk is made up of a stainless steel structure and 8mm-thick HPL sheets. The finish of the structure may be in stainless steel or have a coat of polyester paint.

The combination of a solid and homogeneous nucleus with a hard surface based on melamine resins makes the sheets highly resistant to any kinds of impact or shock.
High resistance to abrasion and scratching:
The durability and special texture of this material make this sheet particularly scratch-proof. Even when used extremely often, the sheet preserves its original appearance for a very long time. It is also highly resistant to abrasion which makes it ideal for applications that require everyday use and cleaning. This material is particularly recommended for office furniture, worktops and lab furniture.
Humidity resistant:
This fungicide material is highly resistant to humidity and does not rot. Both the surface and the nucleus of the sheet are made with special thermosetting plastics that make it totally resistant to humidity. Its dimensional stability is comparable to those of hardwood.
Safe burning behaviour:
This material is also highly resistant to heat and complies with national and international requirements with regards to burning behaviour. Its high unit weight makes ignition temperature relatively high and carbonization is similar to that of hardwood. It doesn’t melt, drip or explode thus keeping its stability for a very long time.
Environmentally – friendly
Life-cycle analysis and reports published by independent agencies confirm that these sheets have a lower negative impact on the environment than the use of other alternative materials.
